During this class you will learn the floral and biomorphic patterns associated with the Mughal Empire. Beautifully ornate flower motifs will be explored and constructed using ruler, pencil and compass.
The symbolism, historical significance and and spiritual importance of some motifs will be shared at the beginning of the class as a part of a short presentation that will allow students to become acquainted with the subject matter in a deeper way.
This is a two part class. The second part of the Mughal patterns course will occur on Wednesday August 12th, 2020
